BELGIAN BLONDE – 6.0% ABV

This unique Blonde is a blend of 4 malted grains, noble hops, finished off with that great Belgian yeast. The result is a well balanced aroma and taste ideally suited to complement just about any gourmet dish, or dessert.

IRISH IMPERIAL RED ALE – 7.5% ABV

Earthy hop flavor, smooth, balanced, with a sweet finish, as you would expect from an Imperial ’Irish’ Red Ale.

SIDECAR – 5.3% ABV
(Orange Pale Ale)

We love hops with a bright, citrus-heavy character. We always wondered what it would be like to punch up the citrus while maintaining a crisp hop bite and balance. The result is this new take on the hoppy pale ale brewed with Cascade, Equinox, and Mandarina hops with a hint of orange peel from additions in both the brew kettle and the fermenter that tweak the classic hop profile and add a zesty pop of bright orange flavor.

OTRA VEZ – 4.5% ABV
(Gose)

On our search for the perfect warm weather beer, we wanted something light bodied and thirst quenching, yet filled with complex and interesting flavors. We stumbled across the fruit of the prickly pear cactus, native to California. This tangy fruit is a great complement to the tart and refreshing traditional gose style beer. Otra Vez combines prickly pear cactus with a hint of grapefruit for a refreshing beer that will have you calling for round after round. Otra Vez!

ROMANTIC CHEMISTRY – 7.2% ABV
(IPA)

Dogfish Head has been brewing off-centered ales for off-centered people since 1995, with inspiration from every facet of life – the spice cabinet, music, even art.

What you have here is a serious India Pale Ale shacking up and hunkering down with mango and apricots. At the same time! Romantic Chemistry is brewed with an intermingling of mangos, apricots and ginger, and then dry-hopped with three varieties of hops to deliver a tropical fruit aroma and a hop-forward finish.

It’s fruity, it’s hoppy, it’s tasty!

MIDAS TOUCH – 9.0% ABV
(Ancient Ale)

This was the first beer in our Ancient Ales series.

This sweet yet dry beer is made with ingredients found in 2,700-year-old drinking vessels from the tomb of King Midas. Somewhere between beer, wine and mead, Midas will please the chardonnay and beer drinker alike.

For years, Dogfish Head has worked with biomolecular archaeologist Dr. Patrick McGovern to bring Ancient Ales to life. For more on Midas Touch and the experience of Penn Museum excavators as they uncovered the tomb of the legendary King Midas, read this essay from Dr. Pat.

BROWN SUGAR BROWN COW – 6.9% ABV
(Brown Ale)

This Mocha Brown ale needed a fanatical bovine with a brown sugar sweet side and a kick of Colombian coffee. Brown Sugar Brown Cow is brewed with chocolate, vanilla, brown sugar and Colombian coffee. We added a hint of lactose, and this brew is a mocha coffee and cream concoction so good you’ll say its name.

VIKING FRAOCH SCOTTISH SOUR – 5.0% ABV
(Sour Ale)

A raiding party to your senses, this Viking beer is meant to be enjoyed unapologetically. Sweet, floral and exploding with sour flavor, this ancient ale was created by the Vikings, claimed by the Scott’s, lost to time and given rebirth by our brewers to share amongst the enlightened.

SHAKEDOWN STREET – 5.2% ABV
(French Saison)

Something’s shakin’ with Shakedown Street–Southbound’s fresh new take on a French Saison. This light kettle soured Farmhouse Ale is infused with a hefty dose of Southern Cross, lending this brew a heady aroma of citrus and pine. Take some time to poke around, and you’ll discover complex layers of bitterness, pepper and spice dominated by hops and an abundance of floral notes. Too much too fast? Not at just over 5% ABV. So kick back and enjoy the ride.

This German-Style dark lager pours muted gold with brilliant ruby highlights and a bubbly, tan head. Our interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Witty Twister is brewed with a generous portion of wheat and spiced with coriander and orange peel. This beer is fruity, refreshing and slightly cloudy.

PALMETTO TRAIL – 5.2% ABV
(American Pale)

We partnered with The Palmetto Conservation Foundation to craft the Palmetto Trail Ale, a lightly hopped American Pale that’s dry hopped with a heavy dose of Citra and Amarillo hops. Sales of this quaffable, 5.2% pale ale directly benefit The Palmetto Conservation Foundation’s “Finish the Trail” campaign. The state’s only mountains to sea trail is meant to “inspire active, healthy living, and to showcase the state’s diverse natural beauty and history. It includes passages through wilderness, woods, urban areas, rail trails, greenways, country roads and the steps of the State Capitol.” Currently available on draft and in cans! Stop by your favorite watering hole and ask them to help “Finish The Trail.”

864 WEIZEN – 5.0% ABV
(Bavarian Weizen)

Wheat beers are generally regarded as starter beers for most folks. Our (864) offering is designed with everyone in mind. It’s broad, effervescent, loud and offensive… Hmm. That sounds a lot like Will. This wheat beer carries the classic old-world tastes and aromas of bananas, clove, and yeasty goodness.
This is the first weizen made in the South with local yeast and local malts since prohibition!

GVL IPA – 7.0% ABV
(IPA)

Finally, Greenville has an IPA to call it’s own! Folks have been waiting quite a while for us to produce an American IPA and we’ve finally answered the call.
This well-balanced beer has all of the hallmarks of an American IPA. Brewed with Warrior, Centennial, & Amarillo, we then dry-hopped the bejesus out of it with more Centennial and Amarillo.

BIÉRE DE GARDE – 6.8% ABV
(2016 Best of Craft Beer Awards Gold Medal Winner)

Name literally means, “Beer which has been kept or lagered.” No expense was spared in recreating this traditional artisanal ale from Northern France. To recreate this regional specialty, we imported all of the ingredients from the countries that birthed the style. The end result is a malt-forward amber with deep hints of caramel and candied apple. Eight different specialty malts come together to yield a magnificently complex malt profile. The French Strisselspalt hops used for aroma create a mildly spicy and floral bouquet. The unique yeast strain combined with warm fermentation and an extended cold-conditioning period produce a smooth and drinkable ale reminiscent of a lager but with full flavored ale fruitiness.

PALE ALE – 5.2% ABV
(2015 Alltech Commonwealth Cup Silver Medal Winner)

A multicultural fusion combining American and European styles. This ale, brewed with imported Belgian specialty malts supported by a traditional English floor malt backbone, is hopped with some of America’s most popular whole-cone hop varieties yielding a surprisingly refreshing and well-balanced pale ale. Pronounced flavors of fruit, citrus, pine and grapefruit balance a caramelized toastiness from our unique malt combination appealing to both hop-heads and malt-lovers alike. Expect a medium-bodied ale with a dry finish that will lend itself to easy drinking any time of year.

MAIZE TO BLACK – 4.1% ABV
(Lager – Dark)

This deceptively dark, refreshing lager is inspired by Mexican street corn.

SESSION IPA – 4.2% ABV
(IPA – White)

An easy drinking thirst quencher with enough complexity to keep things exciting. This refreshing white IPA is brewed with “toasty” Munich and wheat malts. The citrusy blend of hops provides a beautiful complement to our Belgian yeast, and just enough IBUs to declare it an IPA.

PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME – 5.7% ABV
(Specialty Brown Ale)

Remember when your mom packed a PB&J sandwich in your lunchbox? The flavors all melded into pure comfort food by noon! Well, we recreated this childhood goodness in a beer! This light brown ale is brewed from five different grains and then aged for weeks on raspberries and roasted peanuts. Take a sip, let the flavors mingle on your palate, and enjoy our PB&J in a glass.

TASTING NOTES:

This beer begins life as a light brown ale that provides the bready qualities of the base beer. After fermentation, it is rested on whole roasted peanuts and all-natural raspberry puree, which truly transforms this into a PB&J sandwich in a glass.

WHITE ZOMBIE – 5.1% ABV
(White Ale)

We named this beer as a Halloween seasonal brew. But its refreshing taste makes it a year round staple. Zombie is made according to the Belgian Witbier tradition of using unmalted wheat to create the light body and white sheen. Additions of coriander and orange peel give Zombie a fruity and spicy character, while the hops are subtle and lightly detected. Don’t be scared to blow the head off a Zombie and drink up!

TASTING NOTES:

Brewed according to the Belguim Witbier tradition using unmalted wheat to create a light body and white sheen. Additions of coriander and orange peel give it a fruity and spicy character while the hops are subtle and only lightly detected.
