“After the tragedy in Humboldt, we knew as an organization we wanted to come together and support their team and community. We have a close connection to the situation with Bretton’s family being directly involved and we want to help give back as much as we possibly can,” said Swamp Rabbits CEO and President Steve Donner. “
The Swamp Rabbits also signed a goalie stick in Atlanta prior to the season finale on Saturday night and assisted the Gladiators in raising $4,200 for the victims of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash. In just three days, nearly 90,000 individuals have donated to the Broncos GoFundMe page created by a Humboldt resident. The campaign has raised over six million dollars in that short time.
