BECOME A SWAMP RABBITS SCHOLARS BOOK CLUB MEMBER!
By taking part in the Scholars Book Club Program, “Hat Trick Challenge,” your young reading stars will have the opportunity to earn one (1) FREE ticket to attend the Sunday, February 19th home game. The hockey game will inspire school spirit and will be sure to get students excited about reading!
All schools wishing to participate in this challenge need to be registered by October 14th. Upon registration, schools will receive detailed information of the challenge, a poster to keep track of class progress, letters for the parents, bookmarks for kids to track their personal progress, and discount order forms for buying tickets.
Students can earn their FREE game ticket by taking our “Hat Trick Challenge” and reading three (3) grade level books between November 21st and December 9th. The kids will track their progress on their bookmark. Upon completion, they will receive one (1) FREE ticket for the Scholars Book Club Game Night on February 19th against the Florida Everblades.
Each participating student will use the provided bookmark to keep track of their success. Teachers will track the progress of their class on the provided poster and be asked to hand it in by Friday, December 16th. The top three (3) schools with the most participation will be awarded a Swamp Rabbits appearance where Swamp Rabbits players/mascot will read and play with the kids!
Students are also encouraged to take part in our book drive on the night of the game. The donated books will be given to the “Friends of the Library” and sold at their annual book sale. All proceeds from the book drive will benefit the Greenville County Library System.
If they bring three (3) or more children’s books, new or gently used to donate, they will receive one (1) BOGO (Buy One, Get One ticket voucher to a future Swamp Rabbits game). There will also be a FREE post game skate that Sunday evening with the players.
Teacher’s Incentive– Teachers will receive two (2) free tickets to the February 19th game at 3 p.m. for their class’s participation.
